IMAM GAMAL FOUDA is leader of the Christchurch Al Nur Mosque, a significantly multi-cultural mosque. He has resided in New Zealand for 16 years. He gained a degree in Theology from Alazhar University, Cairo, Egypt in 1998. He then studied for a Primary Teaching Degree from Otago University, Dunedin in 2010. This was followed by teaching in Palmerston North and Manawatu area. He was the IMAM in Palmerston North for 7 years and 4 years in Dunedin.
