P3 is looking for a new CEO – could this be you?

We are at an exciting time in the life of P3 and in the global context of ending extreme poverty, having just witnessed the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals. We need a leader ready to step into the crucial leadership role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of P3 Foundation. We are looking for a well-rounded CEO with a sound track record in leading teams/people and delivering results, and with strong vision and energy for helping P3 Foundation achieve its mission. For the term of this contract, the CEO will particularly focus on the following areas of responsibility:
• Strategy
• People and Culture
• Financial sustainabilityAmong other things (as outlined in the full job description), the CEO will be expected to
ensure the delivery of high quality results across the organisation, including:
• Successful execution of flagship events;
• Development of effective and exciting new initiatives and projects;
• Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships; and
• Improving organisational health and sustainability, including via fundraising
Key Competencies for the role are:
• Excellent leadership abilities
• Excellent public speaking abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Excellent project management skills and experience in successful project and/or event delivery
• A strategic mind-set
• Innovative and creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Resilient and effective in managing difficult situations/people
• A strong knowledge of P3 Foundation and its external environments or the ability to quickly develop this
• A shared and invested interest in P3 Foundation’s mission, vision and values
If you are a student or young professional, based in Auckland or Wellington and keen to use and extend your skills and experience in this important role with P3 Foundation, this is your chance to lead by example in making a practical difference towards ending extreme poverty, through inspiring and motivating young New Zealanders to contribute to the vision of a world without extreme poverty.
As well as the chance to take on a challenging and rewarding leadership role, we are offering a fixed term 6 month contract, 20 hours per week, paid at $25.00 per hour (a higher rate may be considered depending on candidate experience). The CEO will commence their role in mid-January 2016. At the conclusion of the 6 month contract, a contract extension may be possible, dependent on performance and on the success of the CEO securing funding to ensure the ongoing financial sustainability of the CEO role.How to Apply
