COVID-19 continues to have a significant impact on our lives, especially on the ways in which we understand the worlds in which we live.
Tihei Wa Mauri Ora<\/em> is an expression that acknowledges the breath, or the sneeze, of life. It acknowledges an emerging from the unknown, the darkness (Te P\u014d). It is about potential, waiting to emerge and be identified and named.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the “sneeze of life\u201d, we find ourselves emerging into new realities and understandings of what is important. Much of what we held no longer seems relevant or as meaningful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tihei Wa Mauri Ora<\/em> conference is an opportunity to reflect upon our ever-changing realities and ask ourselves how we, as individuals, groups, and entities, want to be and engage in these emerging worlds. It will ask us to reflect on what we have learned during these times of lockdowns and restrictions about ourselves, other people and our world. It will invite us to consider how we might be and do things differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This gathering is open to the Edmund Rice Network in Aotearoa \u2013 New Zealand and to anyone else who wants to join such conversations, listen to challenging keynote speakers, participate in engaging workshop discussions, build networks and gain valuable insights to take back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
