The
Edmund Rice Justice Group NZ is a new group which has developed as a result of
experiences in other ER groups such as Volunteers,
the various Reflection Groups and involvement in ER Immersion Experiences.
This
group is based in Auckland and is co-ordinated by Shane Coleman
Purpose of the ER Justice Group NZ
1.
To highlight and publicise justice issues to all groups within the Network
2. To present the real issue in simple language
3. To take global justice issues and critique the New Zealand reality
4. To promote immersion experiences that are available
5. To provide people who can assist in critiquing and analysing justice issues
6. To provide possible local immersion experiences
7. To meet regularly to discuss justice issues
8. To network with other Edmund Rice Justice Centres around the world
9. To network with other justice groups in New Zealand
The ER Justice Group produces a monthly publication
that is circulated within NZ for internal
use only.
